Nominations to the Hall of Fame

To be elected to the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame, the person must be judged to be of lasting fame and recognition to Delaware through his/her contribution in athletics and to have been outstanding within the state’s borders. A candidate must have a clear connection in Delaware before or during his/her period of excellence. He/she may also be a Delawarean who has made significant contributions in sport in another geographical area.

Voting for the Hall of Fame is conducted annually.

Nominations for the Hall of Fame, can be made by the general public. To nominate someone, please print out a nomination form and mail it to the Hall of Fame. This is the first step in the process to get a nominees name on the ballot for next year's class of inductees.
