Information
In June 2002, the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame opened its
5000 square foot permanent home at Frawley Stadium, home of the Wilmington
Blue Rocks, in Wilmington, Delaware.
After a concentrated fundraising effort, the Delaware Sports Museum
and Hall of Fame was built (at a cost of $1.5 million dollars) as part
of the expansion of Frawley Stadium. After twenty-seven years of voting
members into the Delaware Hall, at last there was a place where the
memorabilia, the artifacts, the uniforms and photographs could call home.
The museum awaits
visitors of all ages - come celebrate the best of Delaware's sports
history with us!
